The LWVUS and the LWVWA are supporting and participating in NO KINGS protests around the country.

Bellingham Police and the Keep Washington Voting Act

Our League recently formed an Immigrant Support Team to explore ways to support immigrants living in our community. On Sept 18th, three members of this team attended the Bellingham City Council's Keep Washington Working Act (KWWA) Working Group.

High School Students’ Civic Concerns Voiced at Oct. 16 Forum

Civics students from Bellingham High School will get the chance to voice their top concerns, homelessness, lack of affordable housing, and the need for a living wage to Bellingham City Council candidates at our upcoming LWV/BHS forum.
