About this event

Sign: affordable healthcare for every single person

In 2021 the Washington State Legislation passed legislation establishing the Universal Health Care Commission (UHCC). Its mission is to make recommendations for increasing access to quality, affordable healthcare in the state and to create a single-payor, universal healthcare system for all Washingtonians. How far along are they in accomplishing these goals? Maureen Brinck-Lund is a member of HUX, a subcommittee of the organization Healthcare is a Human Right, which is monitoring the work of the Commission. She will update us on what is happening.
