How Many Whatcom County Voters Vote?

A big thank you to every one for your vote and help Getting Out the Vote for Whatcom County's November 4, 2025, election.  Here are some statistics  you might find interesting.

Percentage of returned ballots by age groups in Whatcom County:

   18-24 years    23.6%
  25-34 years    26.9%
  35-44 years   39.5%
  45-54 years    45.6%
  55-64 years   50.9%
  65+ years   65.7%


The takeaway from the above information: we need to help our young voters see the importance off their involvement in the voting process.

Results of the ballots returned by registered voters and percent of ballots returned by the top 8 counties in Washington State:

King County did a great job of getting voters out.  

For Whatcom County, we have done better but still had a good return. We need ALL voters to know ALL elections are important and ALL age groups need to VOTE.
